At Wright Track Coaching we believe that the first steps of a young athletes journey are some of the most important. Our Junior Track Club aims to inspire young athletes with fun and engaging sessions whilst also laying the foundations to a successful future in the sport



Our Junior Track club runs on Saturday mornings. Registration is from 09:00 and groups run between 09:15 and 11:00. Sessions run alongside school terms and do not run during the holidays (not including half term)


We offer three different groups in our track club, all of which have a slightly different purpose so have a look below and see which one appeals to you!

365 Development Programme (09:15-10:30)

Our 365 groups aim to provide an opportunity for young children to get a taste of athletics and develop new skills. Sessions integrate key elements of the 365 development platform by England Athletics which focus on physical and technical preparation. These sessions are suitable for children of any athletics ability and experience from year 2 to 7

Junior Distance Group (09:15-10:30)

This group is great for aspiring young distance runners. Each week sessions begin with some essential key running skills and conditioning elements. Then athletes get the opportunity to put their distance skills to the test through various distance sessions specially designed to improve endurance capabilities whilst maximising fun

Junior Speed & Jumps Squad (09:30-11:00)

This group is aimed at young athletes with potential in speed, hurdle and jump events. We believe speed underpins all of these events and in this group we look to develop this quality through lots of fun speed skills and drills


All our groups are £5 per session or there is the option to block book for the term. Payment can be made by card or cash on the day
